AXLE REEL
Showcasing our patented clip handle, the Axle Reel, our first design project, remains a firm favourite.

The handle allows for easy and comfortable use while on ascent, which means you are also less lightly to drop it. However, if somehow it does manage to slip from your fingers don’t worry, we made sure this reel is almost neutral in the water, giving you plenty of time to realise your mistake and catch it.

Instead of the standard hole through the centre of the reel, we decided to use an axle instead, allowing for easier grip and deployment, especially with thick cold water gear. Despite remaining solid and durable, the axle reel is one of the lightest on the market, (especially with its 65m of Dyneema line) and is a perfect travel companion for those wishing to dive abroad.

locknut reels
Our locknut reel dispenses with any kind of hole or axle going through the middle of the body, instead the handle rotates independently.

To deploy simply unscrew the locknut to allow the reel to rotate freely then tighten the nut to lock off the line. Again this design works well in cold waters where heavy dry gloves may prove a hindrance with some reel designs.
This design has two versions, the standard 65m, or the 200m wreck reel which also has a winding handle.

CAVE REELs
Made to explore, our cave reel comes with a large ergonomic handle making it easy to use regardless of the hand position.

Much like our wreck reel, the cave reel works by unlocking the nut at the end of the reel and then tightening it back up once the user has finished laying line. This reel is made using carbon fibre composite material making it capable of handling any situation.
This reel holds an impressive 250 metres of bright orange polyester line while only weighing 2kg, making it the lightest reel of its size.
